On Saturday we have picked up our vehicle. It’s tiny, it’s cute and it should take us halfway across the globe. A Daihatsu Hijet S100P, with a 3 cylinder, 660 cc engine. The guys from “It’s on the meter” are trying to break the Guinness World Record for the longest taxi ride in the history of the universe. They stayed a few days with us. Great guys.
Crossing China with our own vehicle is proving to be too expensive. So there’s a slight change in our route: we are going through India, Nepal, Pakistan and Iran instead, ah well…
